Application and Starting a File
An application for a resident care provider for your home can be made via one of the following channels:
After receiving your request, a home visit is planned to introduce ourselves and give additional information. A medical file is then drawn up to organize the 24 hour care package.
Selecting Your Resident Care Giver
Once the needs of the care recipient are established a search can be done to find an appropriate care provider. Depending on the needs of the recipient this search can take between 1 to 4 weeks.
Care-Fully endeavours to find 1 care provider for 1 care recipient, this allows for a permanent placement of the care provider in your home if both parties so wish.
Placement of Your Care Giver
When the right care provider is found your Care-Fully contact person and you agree on a date to start the care package.
Care-Fully will bring the care provider to your home on the agreed date.
Care-Fully also provides all the administrative support necessary to place the care provider in your home.
The care recipient will be asked to provide the following for the care giver:
- Private bedroom with a bed (including linen) and a wardrobe.
- Internet access
Meals for the care provider. Please note these are ordinary meals, if the care provider wishes other extras that should be funded by the care provider themselves.
Once the care package is underway a communication plan is drawn up with your contact person at Care-Fully. There are frequent visits, during which both the care provider and care recipient are given the opportunity to provide positive feedback or raise any areas that improvement could be made in.
Through these evaluations, we are always responsive and kept informed of the situation in your home and can assist or adjust the Care-Fully care package if necessary.
If there is not a ‘click’ for either party the Care-Fully team will look for a replacement care provider.
The resident care giver is entitled to one rest day per week. Care-Fully can work with the care recipient to find a solution if there is no alternative care available that day.
