If you want to start as a care provider you must take into account
the following matters
Experience
As a resident care provider experience is a big plus!
Experience with your own parents, neighbours, relatives or with different clients is an added value.
Diploma’s & Qualifications
As a resident care provider having a diploma care sector is a plus. If you do not have a qualification in this field then you must be able to demonstrate the necessary experience.
If you want to train as a care provider you can always contact the Red Cross in your area or a specialised training centre on care of the elderly/disabled.

Language Skills
As a resident care provider in Belgium you must be able to communicate well with the care recipient, you need to master at least one of the following languages:
- Dutch (high demand for resident care givers)
- French (high demand for resident care givers)
- English (average demand for resident care givers)
- German (low demand for resident care givers)
- Italian (very low demand for resident car givers)
Care-Fully expects at least B1 level of one of these languages from its candidates.

Attitude
As a live in care provider you possess a flexible nature so that you can be responsive to the needs of the care recipient.
You must be able to remain professional under any circumstances and have a good knowledge of norms, values and customs.
As a resident carer you are fully employed by the Care Recipient, but you also work under the banner of Care-Fully.
Motivations/Interest
As a resident care provider you should have a great passion for helping people. Without this you cannot do it.
You are a driven person, who can run a household, can take care of someone and is flexible.
You are someone who cares, your heart is in the right place.
Reliability
As you can count on the Care-Fully team, we must be able to fully count on you.
You are a reliable person, who likes to work in a legal basis in a nice family atmosphere.
